Dr. Lo Radio Show

Oct 20, 2016

Digestive health is so key to feeling wholly healthy, both in your body and mind. So when things get stopped up, there's no limit to what can go awry.  My friend Dr. Megan Taylor spends her days thinking about digestive help and making things flow more smoothly all up (or down) in there.  Tonight on Dr. Lo Radio, we're chatting about the dreaded c-word – constipation. Whether you know it or not, you've experience constipation in your lifetime, and there's so many things you can do to help yourself get back on track. In this case, regular and ordinary isn't a bad thing.  We'll dive into the best ways of treating constipation yourself, why it happens, and what you want to see in your (hopefully, daily) bowel movements. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dr. Megan Taylor discovered natural medicine during a previous career in environmental planning, and went on to receive her degree in naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine (previously National College of Natural Medicine). Dr. Taylor is currently completing a second-year residency with Dr. Sandberg-Lewis at 8 Hearts Health and Wellness in Portland, Oregon, where she sees children and adults with digestive concerns, autoimmune disease, and allergies. More information about Dr. Taylor and her practice can be found at megantaylornd.com or 8Hearts.org.  Hosted by Dr. Lauren "Lo" Noel of Shine Natural Medicine.
